Services for Faculty

The Dean B. Ellis Library is happy to offer A-State faculty a variety of services.

Did you know?

You can renew books online two times before having to physically bring them. Books can only be renewed online if they are not overdue and if they have not already been renewed twice.

Renew Online

Why only two renewals?

Ever wonder why the Dean B. Ellis Library only allows two renewals before items must be physically returned to the Library, removed from your account, and check back out? This is because the State Auditor considers library materials, including books, to be state property. Therefore for inventory purposes, library personnel must physically see each item at least once per year.

But don't worry! You don't have to cart huge collections of books to the Library. Request a pickup and we can come to you and retrieve any items that need to be returned. We can even check the item(s) back to you and return them to you!
