New & Improved Interlibrary Loan

by Unknown User on 2017-08-29T16:17:03-05:00 in General, Research | 0 Comments

If you have tried to place an Interlibrary Loan request in the past few weeks, you already know about the awesome new ILL system. If not, get ready to be blown away by the ease and convenience of placing an ILL.  All you need to do is create your Interlibrary Loan account first, then you are all set to go. Start at the Interlibrary Loan page, where you will see this:

Click on the "PASSWORD RESET FOR WorldShare ILL" link and follow the directions, then you are ready to begin requesting. ISSN's are no longer required for journal articles (if you even need to fill out the citation information yourself).  When you make your request via the "Request this item through Interlibrary Loan" link from a database, EVERYTHING is filled in for you - all you need to do is click "submit". How much easier could it be? Articles you have requested that are still available for viewing are all there when you login to your ILL account - no more searching your email for the notifications and links. Create your account and check it out!  Questions? Contact Linda Keller in Interlibrary Loan @ 972-3558 or lkeller@astate.edu
