Creating Persistent Links: EBSCO Databases

Linking to Full-Text Articles from Blackboard, Course Web Pages, and Syllabi

Creating Links To Articles Found In An Ebsco Database

Regardless of which EBSCO database you use, the method for creating persistent links remains the same.

1. Go to any of the EBSCO databases and search for the article you want to link to. Once you find it, click on the title.

Click on Title of Article

2. On the article display page, click on "Permalink" from the tools section on the right hand side of the screen.

Click on "Permalink" from the "Tools" menu

3. A small box will appear above the title after you click "Permalink".  Click the link text with your mouse and it will automatically select the entire URL.

Click on the Permalink at the top of the page

4. Choose "copy" in your browser's edit menu  (or Control-C).  You can now paste the link into any Word document, web page, syllabus, etc.
