ARCH: A-State Research and Creativity Hub

What is ARCH?

The A-State Research and Creativity Hub is a digital archive dedicated to collecting, preserving, and showcasing the various works of students, staff, and faculty. This means that:

  1. Everything in ARCH was made by someone at or affiliated with A-State
  2. All the works are digital or electronic in nature, even if the original wasn’t!
  3. You’ll have long-term access to the items in ARCH

This type of special digital archives is also called an institutional repository (IR). ARCH is hosted through Digital Commons which is part of Elsevier, a major academic publisher. All the content within is curated by the IR Librarian or IR Team.

What will I find in ARCH?

Since all staff, faculty, and students are eligible to contribute to ARCH – you’ll find all sorts of work! Here’s a quick snapshot of what you might find:

  • Theses and dissertations
  • Archival collections
  • Academic papers (published versions, pre-prints, and supplemental documents)
  • Data sets
  • Historic university documents
  • Capstone projects and senior exhibits
  • Conference presentations

And so much more!
